Congress holds many hearings, or orders documents or reports to be printed, on climate change and related topics. Hearings obtain information and opinions on proposed legislation, conduct an investigation, or evaluate/oversee the activities of a government department or the implementation of a Federal law. In addition, hearings may also be purely exploratory in nature, providing testimony and data about topics of current interest.
The following sites are places to search for these publications. Also, the Library is a federal depository and many of the pre-1980 hearings are cataloged and can be found by searching in RamCat.
