Again, check your syllabus before using these services for any class assignment, especially those with Gen AI. The list is in order descending to the degree in which Gen AI and large language models are an important part of the service.

ChatGPT
From OpenAI. This is the original that took center stage in 2022.
Claude
From Anthropic. Highly moderated (akin to self-censorship) and requires account sign-up before use.
Duolingo
Learn a new language with regular and Super Duolingo that adapts to you. Duolingo Max uses gen AI.
Gemini - Google
Gives most up to date information since it works within Google Search.
Grammarly
Offers real-time suggestions and improvements for your writing. Switch off the Gen AI unless your instructor clears it for assignments. To do that, click on the G teardrop icon in the corner, click the cog wheel in the callout box, and get to Gen AI under Settings.
Microsoft Copilot
Works best within Office 365 and other Microsoft products.
Mistral AI
France-based. Has less moderation than Claude or ChatGPT.
RescueTime
Fully automated time productivity app for your daily class and work routines. There's a fee for this one.
Trello (Butler Automation)
Simplifies your task organization and collaboration for yourself or a team.
