Into the Beautiful North

Common Read Program Resources

ASU's Freshman College presents the 2013-14 Common Read Program selection: Into the Beautiful North, by Luis Alberto Urrea.  The book is about a group of smart and funny young women who are trying to take back their Mexican village from drug runners. While it deals with serious subjects like narcoterrorism and immigration, it does so with smartly-crafted humor and endearing characters.  For more information about the Common Read Program, click here.  The book is also part of the Tom Green County Library's Big Read program.

This LibGuide highlights Library resources including books, articles, social media, podcasts, streaming videos, and DVDs in support of research, instruction, and campus/community events focusing on Into the Beautiful North.

Stay tuned for updates on Common Read events!
